How is fencing not more popular? You get to wield a gleaming sabre and fight beautifully and nobly like the Dread Pirate Roberts and Indigo Montoya in The Princess Bride (without the witty banter and acrobatics).  And, if you're Becca Ward, you get to be the only person in the world to ever simultaneously hold five World Championship titles: Cadet, Junior and Senior individual, and Junior and Senior team.

That was 2006 when Ward was 16.  Now, her bright future includes a stab at some major Olympic bling in Beijing.
