Sonny Parker Basketball Camp
Chicago, IL – The Northeast tour of the Nike SPARQ Team Challenge concluded on Friday night with an event at Sonny Parker’s Basketball Camp at Garfield Park. Parker, who played for the Golden State Warriors in the 1970’s and 80’s, coaches a select group of up and coming athletes ranging from 6th graders to sophomores in high school. The players, some of whom had SPARQ Tested earlier in the fall, were amped to see how they would rate. In addition to the fifteen or so athletes that were in Parker’s program, we also SPARQ Tested the sophomore team from Douglass High School. We came away from the event impressed with the athleticism of some of the young athletes. With continued dedication these ballers will improve in the next few years.

It is good to see that SPARQ works with younger kids. It lets them know what they have to do to be good players.
Thanks
